Jesus spoke the truth, in love, and showed the truth in his actions. If we are to fully represent Christ today we need to both proclaim his truth and demonstrate his love.
It’s time to dismantle the false separation of preaching versus demonstrating the gospel, the old evangelical versus social gospel divide.
Acts of mercy reveal God’s true compassionate character in a compelling way to a broken and hurting world.
We are called to be the healing, restoring hand and feet of Jesus today, whilst also proclaiming His message faithfully.
We are called to a two handed gospel that reaches to the farthest corners of the globe, and ministers into the darkest corners of broken humanity. No nation or people should be beyond our love and care.

The global crisis of human suffering and injustice is growing at an alarming speed.
Daily we receive reports from around the world of unspeakable human tragedies of suffering and with them comes the horrifying realization of how inadequate the current response of the world community is to alleviate the suffering and correct the injustice.
We believe it is the responsibility of the global Christian community not to complain about the inadequacies of the response of the world community, but to take seriously our own calling as Christians to obey God’s command for action.
Global Compassion & Justice Network is based on this:
“To loose the chains of injustice and to untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke. Is it not to share your food with the hungry and provide the poor wanderer with shelter, when you see the naked to clothe him and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?”
(Isaiah 58:6-7 NIV)
