In recent days there has been a spontaneous breakout of God's Spirit in different parts of the world. I have received reports from Australia and United Kingdom, with the most dramatic reports coming out of Kansas City, Missouri.
Many Christian leaders have prayed, fasted, and cried out for revival to come in our time, particularly in the Western world. One of the most prominent was the late Bill Bright.
He was so stirred that in 1995 he published a book entitled,
"The Coming Revival". Alongside the publishing of that book, he led hundreds of thousands in long seasons of prayer and fasting.
He had a special stirring in his heart about the year 2009. I had a similar experience 20 years ago. I was pastoring at the time and God led our congregation to fast and pray. Our main prayer was for an awakening, particularly in the Western world. During that fast the Lord assured us that revival was coming, but it would be delayed. We clearly felt that God's supernatural move in the Western world wouldn't begin until 2009.
People have asked me why we are launching
Call2All America this coming March in Cincinnati. I believe this will be along side an emerging move of God in the United States of America. This gathering will be very important as we look at how to cooperate with the awakening that is emerging.
The International House of Prayer (IHOP) have been great friends of Call2All, working with us in congresses all around the world. They are currently experiencing a spontaneous outpouring. It's characterized by young people, particularly college students, getting instantaneously set free from the bondage of sin. Hundreds are testifying that God is healing their hearts and in some cases their physical bodies. The testimonies of what the Lord is doing are making their way back to college campuses, where there are breakouts being reported in different parts of America.
I am extremely excited about what I am seeing! It gives me a new hope for the backslidden nation of America.
Give careful consideration of whether you are supposed to be part of the gathering in Cincinnati next March. This could be one of the most important congresses we have ever had.
